Our baby is all grown up...he got his first haircut today!!! He did much better than we expected. He wasn't shy at all when we arrived. They have a lot of toys and he went straight for a huge fire engine. He was pretty happy until we tried to put him in the airplane...that is when the hysterics started! Kim was very patient with him and got some bubbles and toys out for him to play with. The bubbles calmed him down enough so that we could finally get him into the airplane.

He had a lot of fun playing with all of the airplane controls.


And then the haircut started!

Brayden was being so unbelievably good!

Luckily he made it through the majority of the haircut before the hysterics started again. Once Kim started cutting the hair around his ears, it was all over!

Bye bye curls! I couldn't believe how wavy his hair was in back after the long curls were cut off!

He looks so grown up with his short hair!

We tried giving Brayden his first DumDum sucker to keep him entertained at the salon, but he wanted nothing to do with it until we got home. I'm not sure he'll be getting another one anytime soon...he was a sticky mess afterwards!

Brayden still loves to wear Daddy's shirts...he got this one on all by himself!

Brayden found another use for his Easter basket! It can be used as a basket, a hat...and a chair!

Brayden has found a new toy to ride in...his lego truck!


The only problem is that he's just a bit too big to really fit in the back of the truck!

Whoops!!! Unfortunately a little tumble doesn't keep him from sitting in the truck...over and over again!

Brayden loves to build forts! As soon as Daddy gets home from work, he runs into the office and pulls out his soccer goal. Then he drags it into the living room, puts it next to ottoman, climbs on the couch to get the blanket, and then points to where he wants Daddy to put the blanket. It is so cute!

Brayden is so happy when he gets to play in his fort!

" Daddy, where did you go?"

"There you are! Here I come!!!"

Brayden also loves to pull the blanket off of the fort...

and once it is off...

he immediately wants it back on! If only he could get the blanket back on by himself!

This week our playgroup went to the park and made Easter Eggs!

Brayden had so much fun playing with the eggs that we made that he wouldn't look up for a picture!

So, I had to borrow one of his eggs in order to get his attention!

Brayden had way too much fun playing in the kitchen while I was making dinner!

Instead of finding the matching cards like he normally does, he figured out that it was even more fun to slide them all across the floor!
Such good form...and all while holding his sippy cup, too!

Brayden's Aunt, Uncle & Cousins gave him an early Easter basket filled with goodies. He especially loves the Easter basket! We were in the kitchen putting things away and when we walked out to the living room, we found him walking around with the basket on his head!

Brayden had so much fun playing with Daddy's birthday gift bag...it kept him entertained ALL NIGHT!

"Now that I've gotten rid of all of the tissue paper... what can I do with this bag?"



"Oh, I know...I can put it on my head!"

"I can't see...maybe I should sit down."

"Phew! I can see again!"

"This looks like a good hiding spot!"

"How did you find me, Daddy? Guess this hiding spot wasn't as good as I thought!"

"Hey, where did you go, Daddy?"

"Daddy, help me up!"

Brayden had the stomach/intestinal flu all last week. :( He was so miserable that all he wanted to do was sit in a chair or on my lap and read books. Normally he runs around all day!

Brayden has perfected getting up on the furniture and sitting all by himself...it is so cute!



By Sunday, Brayden was feeling good enough to play peek-a-boo with Daddy using a cardboard container.


Brayden likes to say "Shhhhhhh!"

Brayden loves to throw his blanket on the ground and tackle it...

Brayden also loves to tackle Daddy...he's such a boy!

We have so much fun tickling Brayden...it makes him giggle uncontrollably!

He walked around with his books...













And finally sat down to read his Christmas book! Right now he loves to read all of his Christmas books...this Christmas is going to be so much fun!

Shelley @ 24 weeks. We go back for our next doctor's appointment on Wednesday afternoon (7th) and will hopefully have another ultrasound to see if this baby really is a GIRL!

Our good friend, Gurdave, loves to suprise Brayden. Yesterday the UPS man delivered this cool soccer toy!
Brayden thinks it is so much fun to push the "goal" button with his hands!

It is going to be awhile before he can actually kick a goal! ;)
