Chris and I took Brayden to the park...it is probably our last family outing before Baby #2 arrives! I'm scheduled to be induced on Sunday, June 10th! WOW!

Brayden had a lot of fun at the park...he especially loved the playground for the 5-12 year olds. YIKES!

Brayden had fun swinging for about 2 seconds, and then wanted to follow around a little boy that was also at the park. Well, he was probably 7 years old, so he wasn't too "little". Brayden tried to copy everything the other boy did...it was so cute!

Brayden loves to climb UP the slides, but rarely wants to slide down them!

Brayden loves anything that spins or turns!

Brayden especially liked climbing up the big kid slide (on the playground for 5-12 year olds)!

The big kid playground also had a fun slide with lots of rollers...it was so funny to watch Brayden try to climb up it!

Finally a slide that Brayden liked to "roll" down!

Brayden's new toy!!! Well, he wishes, anyways! Chris took Brayden to GI Joes and all he wanted to do was ride on the 4 wheelers!

Shelley @ 36 weeks!

Today we had our 7th ultrasound! First thing we found out is that this really IS a girl! Now we just have to decide on a name!

They measured the baby and she is about 7 pounds 11 ounces (86th percentile)! Her head is also measuring big. I don't have exact measurements, but the ultrasound technician said her head was measuring 38 weeks (2 weeks ahead).

I absolutely loved this ultrasound! We got to see her cute little chubby cheeks! We are getting so excited to meet her and I can't wait to see how Brayden will react to a new baby in the house. Right now he loves to kiss the baby (my tummy). My next doctor's appt is tomorrow and we'll be discussing when I'll be induced! :)

Shelley @ 35 weeks...can I get much bigger???

The good news is that at 34 weeks I was measuring on track, again. However, Brayden never measured big, so it doesn't really mean anything to me! We do get to go in for another ultrasound on May 29th to check the size of the baby...that will hopefully be more accurate. On May 30th I meet with my doctor to discuss when she'll induce me...I sure hope it is sooner rather than later!

Brayden had fun taking off his pajama shirt this morning...not sure how he managed to get his arm through the neck hole!

Brayden loves to "rock, rock, rock" on his lion! He can get up all by himself now...and he says "rock" now, too!!!

Shelley @ 34 weeks...what a HUGE belly!

At my 32 week doctors appt I was measuring 2 weeks ahead...I wonder how big I'll be measuring tomorrow at my 34 week appt? Looks like we are having another HUGE baby!!!

Brayden's starting to have more fun playing with his mega blocks. He's growing up so fast!

Brayden has decided that he has to feed himself...if we try to help he gets very upset! Of course, now meals are extremely messy!

This morning Brayden started off using a spoon to eat his oatmeal.


He was doing so good and I was so proud of him!
Such good hand-eye coordination!




And then things started to get really messy...he figured out that it was much faster to use his fingers instead of a spoon!

He really did pretty good getting most of the oatmeal in his mouth with his fingers!




What a mess!

Brayden loves to read books when he isn't running around like a wild man!

Our baby is all grown up...he got his first haircut today!!! He did much better than we expected. He wasn't shy at all when we arrived. They have a lot of toys and he went straight for a huge fire engine. He was pretty happy until we tried to put him in the airplane...that is when the hysterics started! Kim was very patient with him and got some bubbles and toys out for him to play with. The bubbles calmed him down enough so that we could finally get him into the airplane.

He had a lot of fun playing with all of the airplane controls.


And then the haircut started!

Brayden was being so unbelievably good!

Luckily he made it through the majority of the haircut before the hysterics started again. Once Kim started cutting the hair around his ears, it was all over!

Bye bye curls! I couldn't believe how wavy his hair was in back after the long curls were cut off!

He looks so grown up with his short hair!

We tried giving Brayden his first DumDum sucker to keep him entertained at the salon, but he wanted nothing to do with it until we got home. I'm not sure he'll be getting another one anytime soon...he was a sticky mess afterwards!

Shelley @ 33 weeks! Only about 6 weeks to go...hope it goes by FAST!!!

Brayden still loves to wear Daddy's shirts...he got this one on all by himself!

Brayden found another use for his Easter basket! It can be used as a basket, a hat...and a chair!

Brayden has found a new toy to ride in...his lego truck!


The only problem is that he's just a bit too big to really fit in the back of the truck!

Whoops!!! Unfortunately a little tumble doesn't keep him from sitting in the truck...over and over again!

Brayden loves to build forts! As soon as Daddy gets home from work, he runs into the office and pulls out his soccer goal. Then he drags it into the living room, puts it next to ottoman, climbs on the couch to get the blanket, and then points to where he wants Daddy to put the blanket. It is so cute!

Brayden is so happy when he gets to play in his fort!

" Daddy, where did you go?"

"There you are! Here I come!!!"

Brayden also loves to pull the blanket off of the fort...

and once it is off...

he immediately wants it back on! If only he could get the blanket back on by himself!

This week our playgroup went to the park and made Easter Eggs!

Brayden had so much fun playing with the eggs that we made that he wouldn't look up for a picture!

So, I had to borrow one of his eggs in order to get his attention!

Brayden had way too much fun playing in the kitchen while I was making dinner!

Instead of finding the matching cards like he normally does, he figured out that it was even more fun to slide them all across the floor!
Such good form...and all while holding his sippy cup, too!

Brayden's Aunt, Uncle & Cousins gave him an early Easter basket filled with goodies. He especially loves the Easter basket! We were in the kitchen putting things away and when we walked out to the living room, we found him walking around with the basket on his head!
