Brayden and Daddy had so much fun playing at "Pump It Up" yesterday! A friend from Gymboree invited Brayden to her birthday party. The birthday girl just turned 2 and her younger sister is only 3 days older than Sienna!
Unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out great because I was trying to take pictures through the mesh walls of the play structures.Brayden LOVED jumping in the inflatable structures. We had 1.5 hours to play and Chris was tired after about 45 minutes of constant jumping. hehe!
Daddy had fun trying to "bounce" Brayden around by jumping all around him...it was so funny!
Brayden also really enjoyed the slide...they went so fast that the camera couldn't even keep up with them!
"Hold on...I need a break!"
By the end of the party Brayden was soaked with sweat and he had red splotches on his face from all of the times he landed on it!
Brayden also had his first experience with the drinking fountain. Let me tell you...it was HILARIOUS!
Brayden kept hitting the button to turn on the water...And then he'd let go to try to touch the water! Of course the water was usually gone by the time his hand got there. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

Drawing with Daddy
Brayden loves to play with markers. He loves to draw with them as well as stack them together and use them as a walking stick.
Yesterday Brayden drew a very beautiful picture...he practically covered the whole page with color!

Our First Walk
My friend Catrina came over today and we went on our first walk with the new stroller!
Here are the girls all set for our walk!
Avery was born just 12 days after Sienna and her brother, Wyatt, was born 1 month before Brayden! Poor Brayden was stuck hanging out with a bunch of girls today because Wyatt was camping with his Daddy.

Our New Jogging Stroller!
Well, we finally did it! We bought the B.O.B Revolution Duallie Jogging Stroller! It is one of the best strollers out there and is sure to motivate me to go on more walks with the kids! This is what the stroller looks like with Sienna's carseat. Brayden was very impatient to hurry up and go outside so that he could go on a walk in the new stroller. Unfortunately the weather was cold and crummy so we only walked to the end of the street and back. :(

Brayden loves his gymboree bubbles...he can even blow them himself! In fact, he rarely lets us play with them. ;)
Brayden had so much fun pushing Sienna in the swing!
Sienna thought it was pretty fun, too! :)
Brayden and Daddy love to read before bed...

Sienna's Swaddle
After receiving a few comments about Sienna moving around her crib while in her swaddle, I decided to take "before" and "after" photos.Sienna starts out with her head on the burp cloth...
and ends up with her head at the opposite end of the bed!
The most amazing part is that she can do this in just a few minutes! Unfortunately, the swaddle doesn't stay tight when she is so active and she usually ends up crying around 4:30am because her arms are out!

Random Pictures
Yesterday we took Sienna in for her 3 month pictures (she'll be 3 months tomorrow). She is so smiley and giggly at home that I thought for sure she would smile for her professional pictures. However, that was not the case! We did get a good family picture and one of Brayden and Sienna together. I'll post those pictures in a few weeks when we get them.
Until then, here is a picture of our little cutie pie in her rocking chair. I wish we had taken a picture of her in this when she was first born...the little seatbelt was practically up to her chin...it is unbelieveable how much she has grown in 3 months!Sienna and me hanging out before bed...
Brayden has decided that it is fun to carry his toys around the house in his Mickey Mouse bucket. It is so cute how he grabs onto the two handles.

Brayden's cleaning the house!
Brayden is such a good helper when it comes to cleaning the house! He usually helps me dust and wash windows. He uses a washcloth or towel and an empty squirt bottle...it is too cute!

Sienna's New Crib
Eight looooong weeks after ordering Sienna's furniture, the crib finally arrived! Unfortunately the store messed up our order and the rest of her furniture won't be here until the end of September...(sigh)...
I'm sure Sienna is just as happy as I am to get her new bed...she went from sleeping in Brayden's old, uncomfortable pack 'n play to a super cute, comfy crib. :) Sienna's room was so dark and depressing before her crib arrived that I didn't even like being in there long enough to change her diaper! Now I want to go in there all of the time to check out her new crib. ;)
The OLD bed: Sienna insists on sleeping sideways...I have yet to figure out how she is able to move so much with the swaddling blanket on...
The NEW bed:So far she hasn't been able to move around as much in the new crib... maybe the new sheets aren't as slippery as the pack 'n play sheets!

A Trip to the Coast...
We decided to take the kids to the coast on Sunday. Of course we left later than we wanted so by the time we got to Lincoln City it was time for lunch. We ate at Kyllo's and Brayden actually ate a few bites of chicken strips and "frenchies" (french fries)! It was the first time he has ever eaten any restaurant food. YEA!
Labor Day weekend was probably not the best time to try to visit the beach...it was packed! We got lucky and found a parking spot down by Moe's. It wasn't the best beach location but at least we could walk down to the water. It was actually more like a lake where we were...no waves! Next time we'll have to go when it isn't quite so busy!
Brayden did great on the drive to beach. We made use of the dvd player in our new SUV and he watched parts of Cars & Ice Age. Sienna also had a great trip...she was so quiet that we barely knew she was with us! Brayden eating breakfast before the drive to Lincoln City. He no longer wants to sit in his high chair...he has to sit in his big boy chair. The US Open was on tv and Brayden really wanted to watch it too, so he made us turn his chair around so he could watch the tennis match. He also loves to watch football.
Pictures from Lincoln City!

Brayden, Sienna & I had such a fun day yesterday! It started out with a silly breakfast...
Followed by a trip to the water park!
Once again I forgot to bring some toys so Brayden had to swipe someone else's toy boat!
He carried it with him everywhere he went...
Even when he tried to make a run for the parking lot! Luckily I caught up to him before he got close to any cars...I did get a little worried that I wouldn't get to him in time because I was moving pretty slow with Sienna strapped to my chest!

Sienna's First Toy

Tummy Time!
I rarely find the time to put Sienna on her tummy so it is quite surprising how strong her neck is! Where does the time go???

Our friend Janet and her two girls, Amber & Allie, babysat for us on Sunday so we could go wine tasting! This was the first time that we have ever left the kids with anyone other than a grandparent! You would think we would have been worried about the kids, but we were actually more worried about Janet, Amber & Allie! Luckily I think both kids were on their best behavior. :) Hopefully they will be willing to babysit for us again! Amber, Brayden & Allie eating lunch! Well, at least Amber and Allie were eating lunch! Brayden doesn't eat much these days. :(
Amber & a sleeping Sienna... how cute are they???

Finally I get a picture of Brayden and Sienna together! Brayden doesn't usually pay much attention to Sienna except for at bedtime when he gives her a goodnight kiss and says "night, night Senny (that is how he pronounces Sienna)! However, the other night he kept saying "gym" (as in Sienna's play gym) and so I asked him if he wanted to lay down next to Sienna and he said yes! He still wasn't too sure about being so close to her, but at least he's making some progress!

Sienna LOVES to smile! Just about anything we do gets a big grin!
Brayden has been sick and we've been stuck at home. Luckily Thomas the Train has been very entertaining!
Brayden has also had fun drawing with his markers. He is quite the artist!

Sienna is finally starting to enjoy the swing! She is becoming more independent now that she is getting older and she doesn't cry nearly as much when she isn't being held. YEA!
Sienna went to the doctor on Monday and she weighed 10 lbs 4 oz (@ 7 weeks). Her 2 month appointment is on the 13th...I can't wait to see how long she is...she's outgrowing a lot of her 3 month clothes already!
