We have really been enjoying the sunny weather that we've had recently! Last weekend we finally broke out our little wading pool for the FIRST time...the one we bought about 3 years ago when Brayden was just a baby!
The kids didn't get in the pool...they just had fun scooping the water out of it to pour into and over everything in sight. Hey, whatever keeps them entertained works for me! I can already see myself this summer sitting outside and reading a book while the kids play in the water. Does it get any better than that?
Sienna had a bubble wand and kept trying to blow bubbles after dipping it in the water!
Sienna wasn't very happy when she found a hose hooked up to her favorite source of outdoor water!
The kids have been doing a good job of watering their peas and pumpkins! They don't even need our help, they just fill their watering cans up in the wading pool!
They are such good helpers...after they watered their plants, they mowed the lawn!
Of course, you can't play outside without playing with the "bubble shooter" (somewhere along the way the kids started calling guns "shooters").
Chris cleaned up the cute picnic table that we bought last year. I still think they look so adorable playing at the table. At least we don't have to worry about Sienna climbing on the table this year!
While the kids and I were having fun playing in the water, Chris was working hard trying to clean up the patio. Brayden thought it was so fun to get sprayed by the pressure washer, that he made a point to walk through the mist every time he walked by...
After naps, the water was finally warm enough for Sienna to want to get in the pool! Even though she never sat in the pool, she still managed to get soaked! I thought she looked like such a big girl in the pool...and so cute that I couldn't pick just one picture to share. I can't believe that in 2 1/2 short weeks that she'll be 2 years old!!!
Before the warm weather hit, the kids and I went to Toys R Us to buy some cheap outdoor toys. One of the toys we came home with was this little plastic rocket. It only cost $2.99 and it has provided us with hours of entertainment! After you fill the rocket with water, you pull the pump 6-8 times to pressurize it...

Wow! It looks like you guys have really been enjoying the weather. Avery is going to get that same bubble mower for her birthday. The weather here is nice too, but the humidity is awful. I hate it that I'm missing out on the great Portland weather. Hope to see you guys on Monday!
